The beeswax for these sweet smelling candles is sourced from upstate New York,
which has the happiest bees anywhere. Shades of yellow beeswax will differ due to the
mix of available flowers at the time the wax was collected. White beeswax has
undergone a filtration process to remove yellow pollen while maintaining the sweet
smell and gentle melting properties of the very best quality beeswax.
On candle making weekends, I set up multiple melting pots on my dining room table in
South Land Park and pour this special beeswax into prepared molds. After they cool,
the candles are removed from the molds, their wicks are trimmed, and they are
packaged to find you at Nudge Eco Store. These candles were made as I listened to
the audiobooks The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lyon, Vol 5 and A Trace of
Hares.
